Find Out What’s Happening in New Smyrna Beach

Want to know what is in store for lively Flagler Avenue and historic Canal Street in New Smyrna Beach? Most people do and, lucky for us, many of the amazing events along these lovely, quaint streets occur every month throughout the year!

May 5th is a Cinco de Mayo celebration on Flagler Avenue, complete with live music and dancing, progressive tequila tasting and tasty Mexican fare.

Now let’s talk about the very next day! The first Saturday of every month is always a busy day (in a very good way) along Canal Street with the Art & Artisan Stroll from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Participants can enjoy art, antiques, as well as live music from noon until 2 p.m. as they take this engaging stroll.

Or choose the Canal Street Sip & Stroll from 1 to 6 p.m. where participants will sample craft beers and unique wines in delightful New Smyrna Beach Historic District venues. Then, visit local art galleries to view amazing works of art on the same date, from 4 to 7 p.m. during the New Smyrna Beach Art Gallery Walk.

Ratchet things up with an evening full of fun during Canal Street Nights. You will fall in love with downtown New Smyrna Beach during this monthly festival which takes place the third Thursday of every month. It’s an evening when this treasured town comes alive with extended shopping hours, delicious specialty foods and street vendors!

Get your groove on for the three-day New Smyrna Beach Blues Festival, which runs from May 19th through the 21st.

…and that is all just in May!
