What to Look for in a Condo

Be careful when renting a condominium. It may look easy, but condos can vary greatly in size, condition, amenities and more. You need to do your research. Here are some things to look for when renting a condo:

First and foremost, make certain the condo you choose has the right amount of rooms and types of rooms. For instance, if you are a couple and one (or both) of you snores like a freight train, you may want a two-bedroom. Make sure that second bedroom doesn’t have bunkbeds. Conversely, if you have children or grandkids, bunkbeds could serve you well. Also make certain the living space is adequate for the amount of people you will have staying in your condo. Do the dining room and living room have enough seating for your guests?

Also make sure there is an elevator. Hauling luggage and groceries up several flights of stairs can be exhausting. Make certain there is enough parking. Limited parking can be very inconvenient. Is the kitchen fully equipped? Eating in can save you a lot of money on vacation. Does it have a pool? Is it oceanfront or ocean view? Know the difference. Look into the rules and regulations on noise, number of guests allowed, recreational facilities, pets, etc. Check for damage when you arrive. You don’t want to be responsible for someone else’s poor behavior.

If you are looking for a well-maintained, well-appointed, two- or three-bedroom condominium with luxurious oceanfront accommodations just steps from the beach; a private, ocean view balcony; a sundeck for relaxing; a beautiful pool and hot tub area, sauna and fitness center, tennis courts; a clubhouse for parties, you need to look into Ebb Tide Condos in New Smyrna Beach…the best the Sunshine State has to offer!
