A Day at Ebb Tide

There’s not much better than a day in the life of an Ebb Tide condo guest. Let’s take today, for instance…

My bedroom, aside from being spacious, gorgeous and having its own beautiful bathroom, provides an expansive ocean view from the sliding doors that open onto my own private balcony. So, my first course of action was to leisurely enjoy a cup of coffee with the warm sun on my face and my beachside paradise in view.

I made that coffee in the state-of-the-art kitchen in my condo, which I love because when I am not out enjoying a meal at one of the numerous restaurant choices in New Smyrna Beach, I can just fix something quick at “home”.

Today is not one of those days! I’m headed to the Patio Café on Flagler Avenue for fresh crabcakes and baby spinach eggs benedict. Yum! Tomorrow I’m going for a more traditional downhome breakfast at Ruthy’s Kozy Kitchen on Canal Street. They have a pancake, eggs and bacon Sunrise Special for $5, which I love!

Now that my belly is full, I can’t wait to hit the pristine, no-drive portion of the beach right in front of my condo for some me-time. I thought about lounging poolside, but I am in the mood to dig my toes in the sand. Maybe this afternoon I will be inspired to do some antiquing, tour Sugar Mill Botanical Gardens or walk the steps of the famous Ponce Inlet Lighthouse.

Tonight, I plan to meet a “friend” at Crimson House in Historic Downtown New Smyrna and share a bottle of fine wine and a charcuterie board while we listen to a live acoustic performance.

There’s always something enjoyable to do (or not to do) when you’re staying in an Ebb Tide condo!
